Right now, I'm in the USA with my City teammates Mat Leckie and Patrick Beach getting ready for the World Cup. And it's awesome!

Everywhere you look, people are talking about football, playing football and cheering for their teams. Watching it all unfold takes me straight back to being a kid.

If there was a World Cup on, I'd be outside every chance I got. I'd be practising new skills, playing with my mates and imagining I was scoring the winning goal in a World Cup Final. Honestly, I just loved playing.

I never imagined I'd end up representing Australia on the biggest stage alongside Lecks and Beachy.

You never know where football can take you. I mean, every Socceroo starts somewhere, right?

And I reckon Melbourne City Football School is a pretty great place to start.
